Commercial Assistant Property Manager

Full-Time | 100% On-Site

We are seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Assistant Property Manager to support operations across a multi-property commercial portfolio. This role manages tenant billing, accounts payable coordination, vendor communication, and provides essential administrative support to Property Managers. Ideal for a proactive professional looking to grow within commercial property management.


Key Responsibilities

  • Process CAM, Property Tax, and utility billing; prepare and send tenant invoices
  • Review, code, and approve vendor invoices; resolve discrepancies with vendors and accounting
  • Support daily property operations and assist multiple Property Managers
  • Maintain accurate tenant accounts, digital files, and lease data
  • Review monthly financial reports and identify discrepancies
  • Act as a central contact for tenant billing questions and back-end support needs

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in commercial property management, real estate, or accounting support
  • Knowledge of CAM and operating expense recoveries preferred
  • Experience with utility billing and tenant invoicing
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable processes
  • Highly organized, detail-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with AvidXchange/Nexus and Rent Manager (or MRI/Yardi) preferred
